We all want youthful, glowing skin. But not everyone is ready for cosmetic surgery. One very popular and effective alternative is microdermabrasion, a procedure that removes dead skin cells using mechanical abrasion techniques. This is commonly used on the face, neck and hands to decreases sun damage, fine lines, wrinkles, enlarged pores and other imperfections, and the best part is that there is little to no recovery time.*

To see what a dramatic improvement this non-invasive procedure can make, take a look at some microdermabrasion before and after pictures, or call us today to set up a complimentary consultation with one of our skin care experts. We would be happy to discuss all your questions and concerns, including microdermabrasion prices.

How is Microdermabrasion Performed?

Each microdermabrasion session lasts about 35 to 45 minutes, and it is performed right here in our facilities by a trained and experienced skin care technician. She will first clean the treatment area, and then use a medical-grade microdermabrasion machine to complete the procedure. No anesthesia is necessary.

Am I a Good Candidate for Microdermabrasion?

Microdermabrasion is extremely effective in treating age spots, sun-damaged skin, small scars, surface acne, enlarged pores and dark pigmentation. So if you are suffering with any of these imperfections, you may be a perfect candidate.* Microdermabrasion is not, however, a cure for heavily damaged skin.

If you have active acne, warts or rosacea, if you’ve had a recent herpes outbreak, or if you have unstable diabetes or other auto-immune system disorders, this may not be the treatment for you. Your doctor will discuss your medical history with you during your initial consultation.

What are the Typical Results of Microdermabrasion?

The microdermabrasion treatment provides a physical exfoliation, which is key to stimulating an increase in collagen production and rejuvenation. In effect, it provides each patient with dramatic improvements in the tone, texture and color of their skin. And while many patients see improvements after just one treatment, best results are achieved through a series of treatments and a proper at-home skin care regimen. We are happy to offer you some microdermabrasion before and after pictures to give you an idea of the results you can likely expect.*
